Veteran music Producer Jeff Quaye, popularly known as Jay Q has expressed dissatisfaction for not been recognized as the Engineer behind Hiplife musician, Obrafuor's Pae Mu Ka Album.The album,which is undoubtedly the best hiplife album was released two decades ago.

 Obrafour held a concert on 9th November 2019, at the Accra International Conference Centre to celebrate 20 years of the release of the album .The Concert had the likes of musicians, Tic formerly Tic Tac, Sarkodie,Samini,Stonebwoy, Bisa K Dei, CY Lover,E.L,Scooby Sellah of TH4KWAGES Fame amongst others performing on stage.
The musician honored everyone who helped him make the Album a success, unfortunately , he didn't acknowledge the music producer.

Not pleased with the lack of recognition, the Music Producer had this to say on his Facebook page
''Pae mu ka wahala. If the purpose of the event was to recognize the gems behind the album and not obrafuor's entire career, why wasn’t myself and Zola recognized? It is true that my friend Da Hammer and his partner “deep”produced the album but all the songs on the album was engineered by me and my co engineer Zola at CHM, yet pae mu ka @20 didn’t recognize us. Anyway congratulations  to Obrafuor and His team.''

Renowed radio host and musician,Blakk Rasta has expressed his concern about the challenges he encountered promoting his album in Nigeria. Speaking on Thursday, May 2, 2024, on Asaase Radio's Asaase Café with Caroline Sampson, Blakk Rasta praised Ghanaian radio stations for being more vibrant than their Nigerian counterparts.
