Burna Boy Loses ,Angelique Kidjo Wins the Best World Album at the 2020 Grammys

Legendary music performer Angelique Kidjo has won her  4th Grammy Award after she was announced the winner for the Best World Album at the 2020 editions of the Grammys.
The  Beninese singer-songwriter, actress, and activist who is noted for her diverse musical influences and creative music videos beat competition from Nigerian  heavyweight Burna Boy (who had been tipped by many to win) and others including   Altin Gün,  Jules Buckley and Nathalie Joachim With Spektral Quartet.

Renowed radio host and musician,Blakk Rasta has expressed his concern about the challenges he encountered promoting his album in Nigeria. Speaking on Thursday, May 2, 2024, on Asaase Radio's Asaase Café with Caroline Sampson, Blakk Rasta praised Ghanaian radio stations for being more vibrant than their Nigerian counterparts.
