Ghanaian legendary hiplife rapper EX DOE, in an interview has appealed to the government of Ghana not to confine Founder's Day Celebration to only politicians because there are founders in other areas that labored as well.

Speaking to Obomengniibaa Nana Akua on the Nafti Drive Show, the Musician said that while the day is set aside to honor the country's founding fathers, it should be expanded to include founders of music genres, film, and the arts, among other things.

He went on to say that certain people, particularly in the music industry, have worked extremely hard and should be recognized.

To commemorate Ghana's founding fathers, the Ghanaian government has declared August 4 as Founder's Day.
