MY 2021; 2 ACCIDENTS, 2 SHOWS

Obomengniibaa Nana Akua

For me, the first half of 2021 was a major challenge; my only hope was to finish my degree next year and sell my sex toys. Click here to shop 🤪 HannieShe Intimates

Fortunately, I had a cousin from the United Kingdom who was spending 6 months in Ghana, so there was plenty of traveling and adventure. We visited Kwahu, Kyebi, Shai Reserve, Takoradi, Kumasi, Capecoast, Elmina, Swedru, and other parts of Ghana. It was all exciting and fun.

I went through some difficult times that made me suicidal at times, but I kept it moving because something inside of me kept telling me that things would get better and that I would be in a better place. I didn't know how, but I managed to keep my faith intact.

I was involved in two major accidents, the first of which left me unable to sit on my bum for two months, and the second of which severely injured both of my legs.

But there are many things for which I am extremely grateful!!!

No regrets, only learned lessons!!!

2021 has been a year in which I've lost a lot of people, thankfully not through death, but through my disassociation from them in order to protect my mental health.

I spent a lot of time working on things that will improve my mental health, such as learning to love myself more and saying NO more often, especially in situations where I would normally say yes in order to make someone happy. I Defined Limits! Nah, not everyone has access to me; call it self-centeredness, but nobody is worth my inability to sleep!

The icing on the cake is, I auditioned for a job that wanted people between 18 to 25 years, i won, worked hard, and received a monthly paycheck! I'm a proud Host of the Juice on Café 995 and 995 Rush Hour at Asaase Radio 99.5. Producer of Café 995, 995 Rush Hour, all hosted by two major brands Caroline Sampson and Elvis Crystal!

In terms of my love life, I would say it's fantastic. That feeling when two ex-lovers make amends and get to know each other better😍. The truth is, I wanted to settle down by the age of 30, and my partner is totally down for it ... It's lovely, but as I'm learning on a daily basis, I've convinced myself that it's no longer a top priority for me, and he understands. I yearn for friendship, understanding, a communicable partner, and a soulmate without labels!!! The most important thing is that we are aware of how we feel about each other. I've found someone with whom I'd like to spend the rest of my life, but I need more time to work on all aspects of my life first... With ME, I'm egotistical🤪.
