Renowed radio host and musician,Blakk Rasta has expressed his concern about the challenges he encountered promoting his album in Nigeria. Speaking on Thursday, May 2, 2024, on Asaase Radio's Asaase Café with Caroline Sampson, Blakk Rasta praised Ghanaian radio stations for being more vibrant than their Nigerian counterparts.

When discussing their radio studio setting, he stated,
"I can tell you that the media in Ghana is so vibrant. I just came back from Nigeria, and I don't want to say what I want to say. Nigerian media is so weak and poor, unfortunately. You go into their studio, and 99.9% of all the studios I went to in Nigeria, excuse my language, didn't look like studios; they just look like little hencoops. With all respect to Nigeria, I love Nigeria, but I say this about Ghana as well so it's not because it's Nigeria.

He also added that
"And anywhere you go people are looking for money, you have an accomplished superstar coming into your beautiful country , our beautiful African neighboring country and you are going to interview this person for about two to three minutes and you want money right from the security man all the way to whoever, everybody is looking for money and it's sad. You cannot do media and put money in front.

Blakk Rasta is out with a 20-track album titled, Salaga Soldier.
